Platypus is a Limited Liability Company founded by Ugo Ziliani and Oreste Sacchi in 1994 in Milan.

The company supplies a variety of services for Planning and Management of Natural Resources. It offers solutions to promote scientific base learning by applying innovative tools in set ups, sensitization and awareness campaigns pursuing toward the valorisation and conservation of the natural resources.

Platypus, along several years, relies on a team of experts in each sector of competence collaborating with the Company and it benefits from the partnership with other sector enterprises.


 Platypus has realized more than 90 exhibits developed in dioramas, large scenography schemes, rich interactive educational set ups, relief models for Natural Science Museums, Zoos, Visitor Centres, Natural Parks. Biological collection restoration is an additional service covered by Platypus for important scientific and historical compendium..

In the field of Wildlife Management, Platypus operates for the Conservation of the Biodiversity and participates in eco-ethological studies carried out in partnership with Research Institutions including State Universities, Natural Parks and Public Administrations. The services provided encompasses Wildlife Management Plans, Wildlife Vocational Maps, Protected Areas and Game Areas Management Plans.
